Jack and his Mom

I love taking photos of kids. Kids are always fun and full of imagination. When photographing children I simply talk to them about the things that interest them. When you get low and down on their level, kids will talk about the wildest things. When you get them laughing you simply click the shutter and you have a great shot!

I had a great photo session with my grandson, Jack. My fantastic daughter in law, Tara, asked me to take some photos of Jack before the end of the summer. There are lots of great places to photograph families and children around the Lake Norman area, so it was easy to find a good location. Tara suggested this covered bridge location in Cornelius. We had a great time came away with lots of great images.

My First Blog

Hello everyone!

I'm so happy you have taken the time to check out my blog. I will be trying to maintain this blog with news about my photography business and related photographic topics. If there is something you would like me to talk about, let me know, I'll do my best to write about the subjects that are of interest to you. 

I recently shot 3 models in what we titled "Ice Wedding" and posted some of these photos on my web site  http://noblecoastphotography.smugmug.com/ . The shoot was alot of fun and the models were great. Is there anything you would like me to shoot for you? Let me know and I'll give it a shot!. This week I'll be experimenting with studio and flash lighting along with some of my photographer friends. I'll be posting these photos at my web site later this week.
