A Boy and a Dog

Our English Bulldog, Jelly, and grandson Jack. Having a great time hanging out at Beattys Ford Park on a hot August day in 2013.

Eastatoe Falls, Rosman, NC

Eastatoe Falls is easily one of the more beautiful waterfalls to visit in North Carolina. With it's many drops over a granite bedrock and a thick green foliage canopy, it screams beauty!

She Can't Find Her Keys

I spotted this woman, juggling a tray of food and coffee, searching her bag for something lost. You never know who you will meet while travelling on the New York City Subway.

Raffaldini Vineyards

Located in Ronda, NC Raffaldini Vineyards can certainly boast as one of the most picturesque in North Carolina. With it's beautiful vistas and a great tasting room, I highly recommend visiting Raffaldini when you're vineyard hopping in the Yadkin Valley area.

Hoot Hoot

I photographed this beautiful owl while visiting the Carolina Raptor Center located in Huntersville, NC. The non profit Carolina Raptor Center is dedicated to the conservation of birds of prey. Using state of the art medicine, the center rehabilitates injured and orphaned raptors with a goal of releasing the birds after successful recovery.

Laundry San Gimignano, Italy

While visiting the Tuscan region of Italy, we spent a little time in the medieval city of San Gimignano. While strolling through the narrow cobble stone streets, I spotted someone's laundry hanging to dry.
